The Palm Residence
Tropical and vintage, colourful and bohemian; The Palm Residence is a creative location house and studio in South East London.
The house design is inspired by our favourites places around the world from colonial villas in Goa to Baleric beach bars and slick member’s clubs.
In the living space; walls are painted with vintage peach tones and the furniture is a mix of antique cane and deep velvets. The Palm Parlour is our vintage cocktail bar and music room; moody tropical wallpaper evokes tropical disco vibes.
At the back of the house the new green-blue kitchen is fully fitted with all kitchen appliances and a large island leads down to the dining area. The rooms have been opened up with large white timber doors to the back and side of the house, flooding the room with light and creating a vintage conservatory vibe with plants hanging from the ceiling.
To the side of the house is The Veranda, a glass roof covered terrace inspired by the porches of colonial villas that’s been painted coral. At the back is a large 80ft garden where you’ll find Pamela, the giant palm tree we named the house after, and plenty of colourful planting.
Upstairs are 4 rooms including a large master suite with a pink rolltop bath looking out over the park. The colour palette of deep greens and pops of pink contrast against the white walls to keep it looking bright. This room makes a great dressing room on shoots due to the light and separate seating area in the window.
At the back of the upstairs is our creative workspace; this naturally light south-east facing room has bamboo paper and natural linens to nod to Ibiza’s golden years.
