Versatile Farming Estate with both authentic and stunningly renovate location spaces.
Description
Manor Farm is a family farm nestled in the Thames Valley close to Goring on Thames, running from the river to the chalk hills of Ipsden. It is still a working farm with crops and some animals with a wide range of versatile outbuildings and barns to film as part of the location.
Unspoilt farm tracks lead to derelict barns, more modern agricultural buildings and traditional cottages. A dairy barn provides a vast, beamed space which can be used as a blank canvas inside and across the pretty courtyard are an artists studio with original external clock, a shepherds hut style trailer and a rather special blacksmiths barn with unspoilt internal features complete with machinery and burner.
The Manor House itself is a stunning example in red brick surrounded by brick and flint walls including a very special walled garden with pergola and statue. Then interior remains traditional with wood panelling and appropriate furnishings.
We recently completely renovated one of the barns which is now a stunning space used for educational courses and can either be used for filming or as the central hub as it is heated, well lit, has toilets, a modern kitchen and private space which could easily be used as a dressing room/make-up area.
We have hosted magazine shoots and product shoots in the past including Tatler, Boden and Electrifying and have realised that our location is well suited to filming with the rural and authentic look supported by modern conveniences and space for crew.
We are about an hour outside London with excellent rail links, direct river frontage and ample private parking.
